Zu David Icke gibt es sehr konträre Meinungen. Einige sehen dankbar in ihm
einen wichtigen Aufklärer unserer Zeit, andere meinen, er geht mit seinen
Äußerungen etwas zu weit (’The queen is a lizzard’) und seine Gegner
entwerten ihn oft mit dem recht unbedachten Generalvorwurf
‘Verschwörungstheoretiker’ oder ignorieren ihn schlichtweg als Verrückten.
Sicherlich hat er bezüglich seiner Aussagen in den letzten 20 Jahren jedoch
mehr recherchiert und nachgedacht, als die meisten seiner Kritiker es getan
haben. Und selbst wenn man nicht mit all seinen Überzeugungen d’accord geht,
durch Ickes Vortragsart niemals ein Blatt vor den Mund zu nehmen und die
Fähigkeit, auf einfache Weise zahlreiche Themengebiete auf einen Nenner zu
bringen, begeistert und erschüttert er immer wieder Menschen offenen
